Leo Burnett Sydney expands planning dept. with new senior hires Oli Mistry and Caroline Ghatt

Oli Mistry and Caroline Ghatt - Leo Burnett Sydney.jpgFurther increasing its focus on digital and shopper, Leo Burnett Sydney has recently bolstered its Planning Department with two senior appointments including Oli Mistry (left) in digital strategy director role and Caroline Ghatt (right) in planning director (brand and retail) role.

 

With over 13 years digital marketing experience, Mistry started his career as a consultant working with some of Australia’s most well respected agencies across many of the world’s most widely-recognised brands including Qantas and Audi. Following a decision to move client-side, Mistry took on the role of head of digital marketing at FOXTEL, pioneering digital marketing as a key discipline within the company.

Exceptionally talented and widely respected, Mistry possesses a rare mix of strategic, creative and analytical skills.

 

Bringing 14 years experience to her role, Ghatt will be responsible for leading shopper insights and retail activations. During her career as a brand and retail strategist, Ghatt has worked on a diverse portfolio of high-profile brands including Woolworths Group, Optus, Westfield, Steggles and Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC). In addition, Ghatt has run her own consultancy, during which time she designed a personal branding course that has been offered through one of the largest adult education organisations in Australia.

 

Ghatt has also won several effectiveness awards, among which include a Gold Effie and an AMI National Marketing Award.
