Screen shot 2013-02-14 at 11.51.29 AM.jpgOn a day where the birds and the bees and all things amorous are exploding around us, Sydney agency Lunch Partners thought it the most appropriate time to help raise awareness, and more importantly donations, for the Darlinghurst Kirketon Road Centre through a community based health message this Valentine’s.

In an engaging and quirky way to promote love and safety around today the agency has distributed thousands of condoms in 70’s inspired graphic packaging through numerous bars and clubs in in the 2010/2011 postcode with the message: This Valentines Day, wherever you want to shoot your cupid’s arrow, remember “Love is…”

The Valentine’s Gift of Love is FREE (ie the condoms)  But if any true lovers out there are helped, inspired or touched, then their donation will wing its way to Kirketon Road Centre.

The Kirketon Road Centre was established in Kings Cross in 1987. It continually provides a vision of a non-judgemental service for socially marginalised populations. Its core activity is providing  a comprehensive range of primary health care services by a team of doctors, nurses, counsellors, and outreach workers to ALL.

Lunch Partners believes that the position, and often the services, that the Kirketon Road Centre offers, are frequently the target of social conservatives and it is very hard to raise donations. And it was for this very reason they wanted to help.

“We (@lunch) are hoping this launch will be the first of an annual donation raising campaign for the Kirketon Road Centre,” says agency prinical Darryn Devlin.
