APN Outdoor embraces Earth Hour turning its iconic Melbourne digital billboard off

4mins.jpgAPN Outdoor turned their iconic Young and Jackson large format Digital Billboard in Melbourne to a blank screen on Saturday 23rd March to show its support of Non-Government Organisation (NGO) Earth Hour.

 

Presiding over the busy intersection on the corner of Swanston and Flinders streets in Melbourne, the Digital Billboard began counting down to the 8.30pm starting time and held a blank screen throughout the entire Earth Hour.

Says Janine Wood, APN Outdoor’s general manager of marketing: “Showing our support for important environmental initiatives such as Earth Hour is close to our hearts at APN Outdoor. We wanted to show our awareness of Earth Hour and our commitment to recognising this dynamic NGO.”
