Brand Ahency spread.jpgThe Western Australian ad industry’s biggest night of the year was held last night in the ballroom at Crown. The sell-out Oasis Ball and Campaign Brief Awards attracted 800 people and was hosted by MC Feisty.

The big award of the night went to The Brand Agency who was crowned Campaign Brief Agency of the Year, beating five other finalists – Meerkats, Rare, Longtail, Marketforce and 303Lowe. This is the 5th time The Brand Agency has won the Agency of the Year title, having won previously in 1993, 2001, 2003, and 2008. Only Marketforce and 303 has won more times – with 7 each.

RAC Story.jpgDespite experiencing a year when they lost RAC, their largest and most prestigious client, The Brand Agency prospered on many fronts and has evolved into a comprehensive digital agency.

Additionally, their work on the RAC was the creative highlight of these Campaign Brief WA Awards – winning Best of Year for TV Single, TV Campaign and seeing the client taking out another major award on the night Campaign Brief Advertiser of the Year. Also in consideration for WA Advertiser of the Year were Lotterywest, Curtin University, iiNet and Brownes Dairy.

This year’s Campaign Brief WA Advertising Person of the Year is Danielle Norrish who has done an excellent job as Education & Member Services Manager for The Communications Council in WA. Thanks to Norrish’s hard work and drive the industry body in WA is as strong and active as it has ever been.
