The selected jurors are (in order of picture):

Direct Lions Jury: Antonio Navas, executive creative director, Saatchi & Saatchi; Cyber Lions Jury: Paul Catmur, creative managing partner, Barnes, Catmur & Friends; Radio Lions Jury: Regan Grafton, executive creative director, DraftFCB; PR Lions Jury: Jane Sweeney, managing director, Porter Novelli; Design Jury: Heath Lowe, partner, design director, Special Group; Promo & Activation Jury: Levi Slavin, creative director, Colenso BBDO.

Fairfax Media CEO Allen Williams says the selected jurors represent the country’s leading creative communications talent.

Says Williams: “We are spoilt for choice when it comes to nominating New Zealanders to serve as jurors at the Cannes Lions. We are renowned for having some of the most creative agencies in the world, and it’s great to see such a broad representation of New Zealand’s talent selected as jurors this year, for the 60th Cannes Lions festival. The selection process involves choosing the best in the business while weighing up a fair cross-section of representatives from agency groups and regions.”

New Zealand is also expected to have a representative on the media jury, to be announced soon.

Says Williams: “Given this is a milestone anniversary for Cannes Lions – the 60th festival – it’s great to have such broad representation, with six jurors announced today, and a further juror to be confirmed taking our total for New Zealand to seven. We’re looking forward to this year’s festival and are sure New Zealand entrants will once again be recognised for their creativity.”

The Australian jurors should be released by News Limited any day now.
