JWT Worldwide has had to issue an apology for a recent press campaign in India for Ford Figo. The ads were created by JWT Delhi during an in-agency brainstorming session and were never meant to see the light of day. The ads feature Paris Hilton, Michael Schumacher and Silvio Berlusconi and promote the storage area of the Figo’s boot.

‘never meant to see the light of day’ my arse. Who the fuck goes to that kind of effort just for some internal fun and games? They hoped they’d run once in some obscure publication and the next time they got a viewing would be on the wall at Cannes.
I love it when blatant scam goes horribly wrong and bites agencies in the bollocks.
Absolute pisser. Someone authorised the despatch and someone supplied the job/key # for the booking.
I don’t even get the ad. Sure, it’s a skeevy guy kidnapping strippers in his Ford (big boot, right?)—but is there a joke in there somewhere?
The only way JWT can win awards is through scams because they have the worst client base. It’s not the creatives’ fault.
that’s what happens when you conduct brainstorms
monkeys on typewriters
i amma disappointedd, to seea so littlea titties. bigga bigga pleasa.
Don’t blame the creatives.
Just the desperate ECD or CCO who approved it.
Or the weak-willed MD who signed off on its production.
Or the the dim-witted twit who PR-ed it.
Or the jealous co-worker who leaked it.
It takes a village to birth this bastard child of a creative wank fest.
It’s meant to be Berlusconi.
There is also a Kardashian version:

Most of the work that come out of India is rubbish, this is no exception.
