+20 is an experiment to find out what happens when you put 20 emerging creative talents and a group of top-line mentors in a room together. It takes place prior to Semi-Permanent’s Los Angeles event this Friday 22 March.

Maud created the +20 identity and website and art directed the overall experience with Kelvin Ho at Akin Creative.

Says David Park, founder and creative director at Maud: “Our concept is all about the art of looking sideways, seeing things differently, bringing together different points of view and Screen Shot 2013-03-21 at 7.51.13 AM.jpgchallenging conventions. It begins with the +20 identity but involves multiple facets of design. It’s a project that illustrates how Maud’s design influences everything from brand creation to curating experiences.”

At the +20 workshop, 20 creatives work on a brief with creative leaders including graphic designer Jonathan Zawada groups in action.jpgand director/designer Danny Yount, and mentors from agency Wieden & Kennedy (art directors Don Shelford and Sezay Altinok), Ignition Interactive (interactive designer Nick Boes) and Google.

Maud creates provocative design that builds brands and businesses. +20 is Maud’s first project since it announced it has partnered with The Monkeys.
