RAMbassador Raymond A Ram helps out a mate in new RAMS spot via AJF Partnership, Sydney

RAM.jpgThis week RAMS, via AJF Partnership Sydney, launched a new spot featuring its popular brand RAMbassador, Raymond A Ram offering simple advice as a mate to help Australians realise their savings goals and dream of home ownership quicker.

The new spot builds on the RAMS mantra of ‘simply better’, bringing Raymond’s character to life with a new voice that cuts through financial jargon.

RAMS head of brand and marketing, Chris Thornton said the campaign builds off the success of the new-look Raymond developed in 2012 that improved brand awareness and customer consideration levels.

Says Thornton: “Raymond is shown as your mate – the guy who knows what he’s talking about without pushing his opinions on you. This is important for many Australians who just want advice that’s simple and real.

“Raymond is becoming more popular amongst Australians – growing his Facebook flock by more than 20,000 new fans in the past few months.”

In 2012, AJF Sydney was appointed to help reveal Raymond A Ram’s friendly, helpful and financially savvy nature to Australia.

The latest RAMS Saver television commercial featuring Raymond fishing with his mate will be broadcast on national prime-time television from Saturday 16 March 2013 to promote the recent RAMS Saver interest rate increases which has an ongoing bonus rate of over 5% p.a.

The new TVC is part of series to be rolled out this year and follows the success of the previous RAMS TVC – Get into your own home quicker!
