Spencer Wong tells Young Lotus teams: the key idea is to be able to tell a story worth telling

Screen shot 2013-03-18 at 7.41.47 PM.jpgThis year’s Young Lotus Workshop brief asked Asia Pacific’s’ hottest young creative talent to create a story content to recruit the best creatives to McCann Worldgroup.

 

During the Young Lotus introduction, Jimmy Lam, president of ADFEST told the 30 young fragile creatives, “This workshop is designed to give you the tools to push your work further. You will come here bushy eyed, and leave tender.

True to his words, the 15 teams from all around the Asia-Pacific region – including Australia and New Zealand – delivered their answer to the creative brief within 24 hours time completely exhausted.

The participants agreed that the brief was quite difficult and the Young Lotus Workshop provided great knowledge for them to adapt in their careers, but the most valuable experience for them was the opportunity to meet each other and share in each other’s experience from different regions.

 

The winners of the Young Lotus Award will be presented tonight at the Adfest Lotus Awards..
