Rayid- linkedin photo.jpgThe Association for Data-driven Marketing and Advertising (ADMA) today announced the ADMA Forum is going global this year, and that it has secured its first four international speakers, including president Obama’s former chief scientist (data/analytics) from the Obama for America 2012 campaign, Rayid Ghani (left).

Says Jodie Sangstar, ADMA CEO: “Obama 2012 was the most data-driven marketing campaign ever undertaken. We are delighted to have Rayid Ghani, the person responsible for the campaign data, coming over from the United States for ADMA Global Forum and imparting his knowledge to Australian businesses.”

Dr Nicole Millard BT.jpgDuring Obama for America 2012, Ghani, an expert in data, analytics and technology, focused on improving different campaign functions including fundraising, volunteer and voter mobilisation using analytics, social media and machine learning.

The other confirmed international speakers are:

Dr Nicola J. Millard, customer experience futurologist, BT (UK); Joshua Goff, senior expert, head of Asia Pacific Consumer Marketing Analytics Center

McKinsey & Company (Japan) and Husani Oakley,

technology director at Wieden + Kennedy – New York (USA).

Josh_Pic_Headshot.jpgInformation on the speakers’ presentations will follow soon. ADMA Global Forum will be held 7-9 August 2013 at the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre, Darling Harbour.

Says Sangster: “These four international speakers set the tone for the future because ADMA Forum is changing. From 2013 we are the ADMA Global Forum and we’ll bring our delegates the best marketers from around the globe – those that are leading the charge in channels, data, technology, innovation and creativity.

“We do really great work here in Australia but to keep ahead of the ever-evolving world of marketing we need to look outside the confines of our own country and to who is leading the charge in the rest of the world.

Husani Oakley -.jpg“Importantly, our program is not filled with the same people that you will always see on the Australian speaking circuit. Only the best of our market and beyond will make it on to the program.”

Ghani, Millard, Goff and Oakley will be joined by other international industry leaders and quality local leaders who will share new ways to ponder, create and deliver campaigns that connect with today’s increasingly sophisticated consumer.
