Visual Jazz Isobar’s NowLab launches ‘I Am Smarter than You’ quiz app in partnership with Melbourne brothers Aidan and Aaron March
Quiz players are invited to challenge their knowledge with a new app, ‘I Am Smarter than You’ (IASTY) developed by Visual Jazz Isobar’s NowLab in partnership with Melbourne-based brothers Aidan and Aaron March.
Released on the app store this week, I Am Smarter than You is a quiz app and the brainchild of the March brothers, who are not from a digital or gaming background. The brothers approached 30 agencies with their idea before garnering support from Visual Jazz Isobar who had the capability and technology to help them realise their idea.
Says Konrad Spilva, managing director of Visual Jazz Isobar (VJI) in Australia: “NowLab exists within the Isobar network to accelerate innovation through technology. We launched it in Australia to ensure that we had the capability to invest in great ideas from inside and outside our agency.
“The launch of IASTY is proof that it’s working and we are really excited to see more great ideas coming to fruition through NowLab.”
IASTY pits mate against mate to determine who is the smartest in a virtual pub trivia game. The two player game sees players challenge their Facebook friends to a battle of the brains. The app uses GPS tracking technology to provide players with questions specific to their location. Players can check their overall stats to monitor how they are tracking compared to everyone that they play against, and see what their worldwide rank is.
Other projects created through NowLab since its launch include VJI’s own Meeting Room app and other prototypes in the final stages development.
