8VISIONS.jpg‘TwentyTwentyVisions’ is a special three-day exhibition in Sydney featuring 20 locally and internationally renowned photographers, illustrators and typographers, including the likes of Jon Burgerman (UK), Julia Fullerton-Batten (UK) and Adrian Brown (AUS).

These 20 artists have created their own unique interpretation of the theme ‘VISION’. Each piece of work will be printed just 20 times and then sold to raise money for The Fred Hollows Foundation and its goal of ending avoidable blindness.

The VISIONS will be displayed and on sale between 16th and 18th May at Sydney’s ‘He Made She Made’ gallery in Darlinghurst.

2020POSTER.jpgThanks to the support of kind sponsors, 100% of money raised will go directly to The Fred Hollows Foundation.

These renowned artists normally sell prints for thousands, but during this unique exhibition each print is available from just $120. This gives people the chance to own a limited edition VISION for a fraction of what it’s worth as well as helping to restore the vision of people in need around the world.

THE CAUSE

Right now, an estimated 39 million people around the world are blind. Four out of five don’t have to be. Simple interventions, such as inexpensive medication and surgery, can restore a person’s sight.

Fred Hollows (1929-1993) was an Australian philanthropist and ophthalmologist who became known for restoring sight to thousands of people in developing countries and he fought passionately to improve the health of Indigenous Australians living in remote communities.

Fred had a vision of ending avoidable blindness. With the help of partners and supporters, the Foundation is working to make Fred’s vision a reality. A donation of just $25 can restore a person’s vision, so each print sold will help change many lives.
