During his time at DDB, Rallings managed a period of sustained growth that saw Tribal more than double its size and revenue, and the successful integration of digital skills more broadly across the DDB Group in his role of chief operations officer.

Rallings will spend much of his time over the next 6-12 month focusing on Creata’s digital clients and initiatives both in Australia and regionally, before taking a broader global view further down the track.

Creata, founded by CEO Norma Rosenhain, has operations across the US, South America, Europe, Asia and Australia, being a leading promotional agency for its global clients McDonald’s, Kellogg’s, Nestle, Activision and more.

Creata’s investment in digital technologies has led to the creation of technical development hubs across 4 continents, with expertise and extensive capability in multiple web-based and mobile technologies. Increasingly Creata is integrating their existing product and promotional business with their digital technologies, creating seamless physical and virtual brand and product experiences.

Says Rosenhain: “Creata’s growth in the digital space over the past 5 years has been vast, and will need leadership expertise to continue this progression. Charles’ experience and diverse digital understanding, combined with his strong overall marketing knowledge will help provide the vision and focus Creata are looking for going forward.”

Says Rallings: “I was attracted to Creata by its strong investment focus in digital technologies, and was keen to be a part of developing the digital potential for brands and clients, working beyond the traditional marketing environment.”
