Kit Kat turns chocolate into art with the last fifty of the limited edition white bars via JWT Sydney

group.jpgTo turn Kit Kat Australia’s wildly popular limited edition Kit Kat White 4 finger bar into something that would last forever, JWT Sydney and Kit Kat created The Final Fifty; fifty exclusive pieces of poster art made entirely from the final fifty bars in the warehouse.

Each unique poster has been hand crafted, and signed, by renowned illustrator Mike Watt, who used a variety of techniques to turn the melted chocolate from each of the final bars into distinctly unique works of art.

The creatives at JWT Sydney saw an opportunity to turn the much-loved, limited edition Kit Kat White into something that would last forever. We asked Nestlé to save the sail.jpglast fifty Kit Kat White bars and we worked with Mike Watt to create fifty timeless pieces of art.”

The Final Fifty digital art gallery is currently being showcased on Kit Kat Australia’s Facebook fan page, along with a behind the scenes video, featuring Watt and his reflections on the project.

The posters will be distributed to fifty lucky Facebook fans later this month following Kit Kat’s The White Exhibition; an exclusive exhibition event in Sydney’s central white unicorn.jpgbusiness district, where the public will be able to view the artworks and bid their farewells to the very last of the limited edition Kit Kat White bars.

Says Watt: “Each 50 of the prints are unique in their own way. None of them are the same. It’s a nice way to wrap up the run of the limited edition Kit Kat White. People will get to keep a piece of history.”
