Wunderman’s Sydney, Melbourne + NZ offices set to report to agency’s Asia-Pacific HQs as Sydney MD Jo Lloyd leaves agency after eight years
Stephane Faggianelli, Wunderman’s president of Asia-Pacific region, announced today changes across its Australian and New Zealand operations as the news was made that Sydney managing director Jo Lloyd leaves the agency after eight years.
Effective immediately, Wunderman offices in Sydney, Melbourne, and Auckland as well as its newly acquired Bienalto operation now report to the agency’s Asia-Pacific headquarters in Singapore.
Lloyd has served as managing director of Sydney since 2010. With solid management teams across all offices no immediate replacement will be announced.
A search for an Australian/New Zealand leader is under way with the aim to further expand the network through continued acquisitions in the fast developing sectors of data, social and technology.

Good juck Jo.
But with her gone, and Matt B late last year, just who is running the place now?
Why stop at Singapore?
With so many time zones, this is clearly a case of putting profit before a client’s productivity.
Why not make us all report to Columbus Circle instead.
Sable did say, the move is just a state of mind, didn’t he?
The Head of Melbourne office “left” a couple of weeks ago too. So much for the solid management teams.
the same people who were running it while she and matt were here.
i did wonder where all of the knives from the wunderman kitchen had disappeared to. Now they’re all showing up again.
the house of frenemies.
I know it’s a line from a Meatloaf song but ‘power play’ you took the words right out of my mouth. Sounds like wunderman is a happy place to work 🙁
Jo has done an outstanding job to grow that business from next to nothing to something of value. well done Jo!

@ “i know”, you’re an idiot. And if you are one of my colleagues, you’re an even bigger idiot. Everyone knows Jo and Matt built this agency and did a far better job than most. They gave Wunderman Sydney it’s most successful years ever. What have you done for new business, creativity, awards, PR and the agency’s culture? Get back to your PowerPoint slides.
