jwgteam.jpgAustralia’s leading home of talent for the contemporary applied arts, the Jacky Winter Group, are shaking things up with a relaunched brand, a delicious new web presence and suite of client tools, and exciting new directions in photography as Sarah Ewing’s SEA agency comes into the Jacky Winter fold.

Says Jeremy Wortsman, Jacky Winter Group director: “This has been over five years in the making. We’ve distilled all our experience into refining and diversifying our offerings and are very excited about sharing the benefits with our clients and artists.”

The Jacky Winter Group have been blazing trails in the contemporary commercial art world since 2007. With more than 100 genius image-makers and production powerhouses on the country’s largest roster, they also have the broadest range of clients, locally and internationally.

Says Karen Kushinsky of Clemenger BBDO Melbourne: “We have collaborated with Jacky Winter for the past five years. They have an exceptional roster of artists who have helped bring our ideas to life through illustration, animation and recently photography, and we greatly look forward to continuing our relationship as they enter into this new phase of their business.”

SEA was founded by Sarah Ewing in 2010. The agency represents two notable rosters of Australian onshore and international offshore artists, including Jesse Marlow, Nick Turpin, James Newman, Paul Torcello, Clare Plueckhahn, Michael Kai, Emma Phillips, Lara Jade and Phil Toledano.

Says Ewing: “We are incredibly excited about this collaboration. Together, we have a unique offering and these two dynamic brands will have sensational creative benefits for our clients. We want our agency to create the best opportunities for our artists, produce the best work and work with the best people.”

With the arrival of SEA, Jacky Winter’s existing photographic wing, The Twitchery, will refocus on production and behind the scenes talent, representing a new breed of imagemakers, from art directors and 3D artists to stylists and set builders.

Says Wortsman: “I’m concluding things here with a snappy statement about possibility, and excitement, because the person who wrote this press release told me it would be a good idea. But honestly, I’m not sure I have much else to say, because we are all very tired from getting this site up, but you get the general idea. Does anyone even read this far down a press release?”
