No time for hibernation at Bear Stock – Australian independent stills image library builds collection
Bear Stock – the first independent stills image library in Australia dedicated to location 2D backgrounds and environments for 3D automotive CAD models is starting to turn heads in the advertising industry with its rapidly growing collection of backgrounds and environments with matching 360 HDRI domes.
With winter now upon us the Bear Stock photographers won’t be hibernating, continuing to capture some of the most aspirational and compelling back plates on offer.
The 360 HDRI (High Dynamic Range Image) dome is used to import the surrounding lighting and reflection elements of the back plate to the CAD automotive model and can also be used as a ‘virtual world’ environment for the animation of 3D objects. Bear Stock maintains a library of the highest quality domes with whopping 
dimensions measuring 14800 x 7400 px at 32 bit creating 1.23 Gb files.
The collection of crafted back plates and environments on offer are of the highest quality, supplied in true 16bit 
230Mb tif files, retouched, graded and ready to go from Outdoor sites to Web usage. All back plates are horizontally flippable and have property releases where legally required and appropriate.
With an emphasis on maintaining a library of only the highest quality images, Bear Stock is focused on becoming a first resource for advertising agencies and post production houses throughout Australia.
