OUA-O2S-ImageTile.jpgSydney-based digital learning company, Digital Chameleon, will join forces with Open2Study to develop a digital marketing subject about Big Data.

Created by Open Universities Australia (OUA), Open2Study offers free, high quality education to everyone. It is another avenue for OUA to make tertiary education accessible to as many people as possible.

This new subject, Big Data for Better Performance, will be available from 27th May, at no charge, on open2study.com.

Digital Chameleon has developed this free online subject as a ‘gateway’ learning opportunity for those interested in understanding more about data as it relates to marketing, from either a professional or a general interest perspective.

The Big Data subject features four one hour modules and will offer learners a combination of creative examples, case studies, and research as part of their study.

Digital Chameleon worked with Cubic Consulting and RichMedia Consultancy to develop and produce this free online subject.

As the national leader in online tertiary education, OUA has already helped over 250,000 students realise their education goals since 1993.

Says Jose Herrera Perea, OUA’s director of free online learning: “Open2Study is centred on providing high quality, free online education. Digital Chameleon’s expertise in digital learning makes them a perfect partner for us. Offering a subject in Big Data makes sense as it is highly relevant to learners interested in digital marketing today.”

Says Patty Keegan, Digital Chameleon’s managing director: “We’re delighted to have been selected by Open2Study as their partner in developing coursework for this key aspect of digital marketing. It is pleasing to be part of the process of de-mystifying big data for both those looking to make a home in the marketing industry, as well as those who just want to add to their current knowledge.”
