Rabbit director Owen Trevor shoots a mouth watering spot for Pizza Capers via The Monkeys
Pizza Capers has launched a spot by The Monkeys and directed by Owen Trevor at Rabbit – promoting the drool-inducing power of the new Pizza Capers menu.
Says Lucas Jenner, Rabbit EP: “We were drawn to the irreverence of the script and the sense of fun The Monkeys and the client were after.”
Says Trevor: “The approach was to try and create a strange kind of stasis. These pizzas literally hypnotise you, and the coverage, sound and picture edit was geared towards communicating that in an interesting way.”

Nice job. Really nice job.
Love it.
Please don’t tell me it’s been ripped off from somewhere.

That’s funny.
What??? A couple of hipsters in Jenny Kee going “awwwwwww” and you love it? It’s actually off putting and so Bondi 2010.
That’s funny.
It’s wonderful. And i’m not even being sarcastic!
Thought the people’s reaction was more “stunned” than “mouth watering”.
Was looking forward to either dripping saliva, or a different end line.
This is a funny little spot. It’s got way more topping than most pizza ads.
Great spot. Well done Ben and Rob.
Love it. Straight to the point, entertaining and unlike any pizza ad I’ve seen. I’ll give Pizza Capers a go for sure.
Looks like the Monkeys have discovered the joys of astroturfing!
Real funny. Great work Rob and Yabbo
What was so wrong with my comment a few days ago that suggested that this was a poor imitation of the work of legendary director Joe Sedelmaeir that you wouldn’t post it? Fairly innocuous criticism I would have thought.
And I thought the Monkeys couldn’t do anything wrong at the moment… Shockingly, horribly bad.
