With founder Freeland in the driving seat, Our Friends Electric is set to offer agencies and brands strategic, creative and planning support when developing live engagement ideas as part of their broader campaigns.

Says Freeland: “Engagement lives at the heart of every great communications idea and as the live space explodes hand-in-hand with social, there is an increasing need for event specialists to be at the forefront of the bigger idea rather than just retrofitting the activity.

The live space needs to do more than inspire participation, it needs to drive action and dovetail into a number of diverse channels – and that’s where we come in.”

With eighteen years of event experience in Australia, the US and the UK, Freeland has worked with a wide range of brands and agencies such as Tropfest Australia, facebook, OPSM, Sefiani Communications, Time Out, AIMIA and Reed Exhibitions.

Says Freeland: “Where we offer added value in place of other event houses is with team experience. With decades worth of capability running or working in integrated consultancies, we don’t just look at the execution – we ensure it will deliver through the line.”

With the team based in new offices in Woolloomooloo, the consultancy kicks off its portfolio with impressive new business wins including Ray-Ban, Pacific Restaurant Group and The Body Shop.

Our Friends Electric advises how to build memorable and immersive brand experiences whilst delivering high engagement for brands, big or small, across Australia.
