The Sweet Shop throws exclusive film screening event for Melbourne creatives and producers

Last night The Sweet Shop held an exclusive film screening event for Melbourne creatives and producers.

Short films from Ben Quinn ‘I Missed My Mother’s Funeral’ and directing duo TWiN ‘This Is My Court’ screened, followed by the debut feature film ‘Shopping’  from Mark Albiston and Louis Sutherland.

After premiering at the Sundance Film Festival ‘Shopping’ scooped a prestigious Grand Prix award at the 63rd International Berlin Film Festival.

Director Louis Sutherland was present on the night to introduce the film.

Guests were treated to a selection of tasty tacos and guacamole and chips courtesy of The Taco Truck.

The evening was held at a brand new private cinema called The Backlot Studios in Southbank.
