Former Media Design School creative director David Bell launches ‘The Dog Hunters’ e-book

The Dog Hunters.jpgDavid Bell, ex-CD at Media Design School’s creative advertising course in Auckland (AXIS Adschool as was) has been busy writing a book in between freelance jobs. ‘The Dog Hunters’ is the first of a series involving Prince Llewelyn and the legendary and disturbingly flatulent Wolfhound Gelert.

Says Bell: “Actually, I’ve been writing it since the early 90’s, on and off. There’s no print version as yet- after such a long time writing it I was itching to just do it, and with the rise and rise of eBooks, the time was right. Plus I’m using the marketing of the book as a hands-on course in social media advertising, and it’s been fascinating delving into the niche markets like ‘Wolfhound Lovers’ and Archery facebook groups.

“The book is aimed squarely at a generation of young teen lads that haven’t had many stories written with them in mind recently, but anyone who likes the idea of drinking warm dog spit and having to fight off ravenous baboons is going to like it. I hope.”
