United by their love of filmmaking, Nathan Lewis and Mike Bennett, the creative pair behind Joy Collective, specialise in creating content across multichannel platforms including cinema, television, digital, iPad and social media.

Recent work includes films for Russh Magazine, IMG, General Pants, Seafolly and Levi’s.

Says Susie Douglas, founder of Film Motel: “Nathan and Mike are incredibly talented and have a real understanding of all forms of technology as well as a unique talent for telling stories in their films. We are so happy to be working with them.”

With 25 years experience as an executive producer Douglas’ vision for Film Motel was to start a production with the flexibility to answer all briefs and to collaborate with different creative teams.

Says Douglas: “I love working with my core stable of directors but I also wanted the company to be able to answer more briefs. That is where the guests come in. If we don’t have the right creative solution already on our books we find it.

“My vast experience producing internationally means I have the contacts to source the right people for any job.”
