Says Jan Staunton (left), general manager, brand & marketing for MS Australia – ACT/NSW/VIC: “Multiple sclerosis is a chronic and often debilitating disease of the central nervous system that affects more than 23,000 Australians. Driving public awareness of the disease and encouraging charitable contribution is imperative to helping us find a cure and to support Australian’s living with MS.

“We wanted to partner with an Agency who not only aligned with our values, but had the specialist expertise, technology and passion to help us achieve our communication goals. We found that agency in OMD and are delighted to be working with them.”

Peter Horgan -.jpgSays Peter Horgan (left), CEO OMD Australia: “At OMD, giving back to the community is fundamental to our culture. We give each member of staff one day off each year to support their charity of choice and align with charities at a national level which resonate with our staff base. MS is a disease that I, and many of our staff are passionate about, and we are delighted to be working with MS in their fight to find a cure.”

OMD will be working across all MS charity events including the annual MS Readathon throughout August and the annual MS Sydney to Gong Ride on November 3rd 2013.

OMD’s appointment is effective immediately.
