DSC0210.jpgMulti-award winning international photographer, Michael Corridore has joined Sam I Am Management.

Corridore divides his time between personal photo media-based projects and commercial work.

His series Angry Black Snake screened at the New York Photo Festival, received honourable mention in the Fine Art Series at the New York Photo awards (2008), and received the Aperture Foundation’s Portfolio prize (2009).

MCX2045.jpgHis Roadworks series was runner up in the book-publishing prize Photo.Book.Now (2008). His upcoming exhibition Tangent (Edmond Pearce Gallery, Melbourne), features a series of collages – the work stemming from his interest in the Cubists approach to re-interpreting what is seen from different perspectives.

MIC0662.jpgCorridore’s commercial work has attracted much international recognition, including being listed in all three editions of Archive’s Top 200 Advertising Photographers Worldwide, and awarded a number of gold, silver and bronze Lions at the Cannes International Advertising Festival.

His work has been selected for exhibition in numerous art prizes across Australia and the US, including the Aperture Foundation Portfolio Prize, Josephine Ulrich and Win Schubert Prize, Moran Contemporary Photographic Prize, New York Photo Festival, Olive Cotton Portrait Prize and the Citigroup Portrait Prize.

Sam I Am is thrilled to be representing Corridore’s commercial work in Australia.
