Gwynne-St-1.jpgFriday night saw the massive launch for new photographic and post production facility, Hell Studios.

Says Nicky Finlay, co-owner and business development manager: “We had more than 250 people from Melbourne’s top design and advertising agencies drinking Old Mout Cider, Cerveza Aguila Beer and cocktails from Bacardi Lion until the sun came up on Saturday. There was even a taco van feeding everyone Mexican fare.

Richard Wilson is one of Melbourne’s most highly regarded retouchers and a co-owner of the business.

SaysWilson: “One of the great things about our new studio is its adaptability. We’ve spent the last six months turning on old Cremorne warehouse into a space that is functional, has fantastic natural light and can be modified at the drop of a hat.

Says Carlos Alcaide, third owner of the business as well as renowned Melbourne photographer: “None of this is a fluke. With more than 70 years experience in the photographic industry between us, we knew all the things we needed to include to make the perfect work environment for our clients. We may not have seen our families and friends as much as we’ve wanted to recently, but we’ve created a studio that can host a party for 250 on a Friday, be ready for a major fashion shoot by Monday morning and then shoot intimate portraits on a Wednesday.”

Hell Studios also launched their new branding and website on the night. Produced by design firm, The Company You Keep, it highlights their three major offerings: Creating, Capturing and Crafting.

Says Finlay: “We’ve brought producers, photographers and post-production all together and put them under one bright, shiny new roof here at Hell.”
