Renault launches ‘Made for the Moment’ spot for its Megane range via Naked Comms, Melbourne
Renault Australia has just launched its latest campaign to celebrate the spontaneous living on offer with the Megane range.
The campaign – produced by Naked Communications Melbourne in partnership with VI and Mitchell’s – highlights the addition of the sports wagon and coupe cabriolet to the already locally successful hatch and RS models.
As well as a TVC, the ‘Made for the Moment’ campaign gives people the opportunity to go online at www.madeforthemoment.com.au to win one of a series of tailor made spontaneous experiences built around Renault’s various partnerships in fine dining, theatre and skiing.
Says Gina Trench-Thiedeman, brand & consumer manager at Renault: “The Renault Megane is our key range here in Australia. This campaign builds on the tremendous success Renault has had over the last year. We are extremely pleased with the results, and how a campaign with lots of moving parts has all come together.”
Says Tom Ward, managing director, Naked Communications Melbourne: “Car advertising often just passively tries to persuade. We wanted to give people an opportunity to really experience the spontaneous living on offer in the Megane range. We’re really proud of what was a great team effort with VI and Mitchell’s.”

Pretentious? Moi?
Beautiful. Nicely shot. Simple message.
Nice to see craft being paid attention to
Decent ad. I like the spontaneity thought
Great production agreed. Good strategic creative solution too. ( bet the brief from the client was “we want it to be positioned for the city… And the outdoors. Oh and for men and women. Of all ages.”)
Nailed it. Well done guys!
Beautifully shot. Who did it?
The only thing rising here is the smell of a not so great ad and comments from Naked staff.
No

Hang on. Isn’t the post above slagging off Mazda, from the same company that made this? hmmm
I don’t get the pain? Nice ad well shot. Nice message. Car looks great. Not a lot to not like. But yeah soufflé is a funny word to use.
Dog sauce.
And this comes from an agency slagging off the Mazda spot. Bland x 100
