Teach for Australia launches a social campaign and a new recruitment campaign via the Royals
Teach for Australia has just launched a new social campaign aimed at creating a conversation about the educational gap in Australia as well as a recruitment campaign targeting high achieving university students via the Royals.
The social campaign, working with students from Hume Secondary College, includes a tailorable online film clip where viewers can insert comments in to the clip for future viewers.
Says Nick Cummins, creative director, the Royals: “We needed a fresh way to get this message out and the kids at Hume College along with Matt Wilson and James Cecil really delivered the goods.”
Says Roberto Finamore, marketing and communications manager at TFA: “This idea allowed us to celebrate the impact we are having in the community as well an engaging mechanism to educate the broader population of the TFA program. We are loving the response so far.”
The campaign was directed by Matt Wilson and music direction was delivered via James Cecil and Level 2 records.
The recruitment campaign includes posters featuring real TFA associates, which were placed around Australian Universities. Each poster in the campaign depicts a fictional book cover that promotes the benefits of the program in a fresh way.
Jesper Nielsen was the photographer for the campaign.

This must be a joke, a tailorable video where users can insert comments? It’s called YouTube.
Nothing fresh about a song performed by students, a live Twitter overlay and book covers as print creative.
