Infinity2_Tourism_Australia_Press_Release_APPROVED.jpgFriday 21st June saw the announcement of the winners of the Best Jobs In The World campaign, run by Tourism Australia. The competition generated some staggering results with more than 612,000 entries from over 339,000 people, across 196 countries. 46,000 of the entries were video alone.

Tourism Australia partnered with Infinity Squared to document the final week of the competition, with 18 finalists arriving in Sydney, before traveling to their respective states in a bid to secure one of the Best Jobs in the World and an attractive $100K salary package for six months.

Led by director / DOP Rob Stanton-Cook, Infinity Squared simultaneously deployed six Preditor teams to NSW, Victoria, Queensland, Western Australia, South Australia and The Northern Territory to document the journeys of the 18 finalists.

Under incredibly tight deadlines, video and stills content were supplied daily to meet the demands of global media, in addition to six individual state films used to support the winners announcement last Friday.

Says Nick Baker, Tourism Australia’s executive general manager of consumer marketing: “This was not just about packaging up spectacular destination footage… It has been about capturing the truly transformational effect this journey has had on the lives of these finalists… Infinity Squared did this, they did it well and should be very proud of their efforts.”

Infinity Squared will now spend the next 6 weeks crafting various formats from the stories captured to further amplify the success of the project.
