Victoria University has over 50,000 domestic students and 12,000 international students, with the university’s heartland in Melbourne’s west.  It is one of the largest and most culturally diverse education institutions in Australia, and one of only five multi-sector universities. The agency appointment comes as the university completes a restructure that will see the integration of TAFE and higher education.  The aim is to provide more flexible learning pathways to Victorian students.

Leo Burnett Melbourne CEO Melinda Geertz (pictured) said:  “It’s an honour to work with Victoria University. We share their fundamental belief that there is an education pathway for every student, and we see real opportunity to amplify that message on their behalf.”

Brooke Young, Vice-President, Marketing said:  “We are delighted to announce our partnership with Leo Burnett. It’s an exciting new chapter for the University and we see the agency playing an integral role in this period of transformation. Through the pitch process, Leo Burnett demonstrated a real understanding of our challenges, our vision, our brand and, importantly, our students.”

The agency will begin working on the account immediately.
