GRADS_ALL_3[1][1].jpgThe Clemenger Group Graduate Program has returned for its eighth year and is looking to recruit the finest graduates from across Australia. Applications open today for the 2014 intake and if previous years are anything to go by, the interest is likely to be high.

Recruitment for 2014 closes on Friday 6 September. For more information and to apply, click here.

GRADS_ALL_1[1][1].jpgThe program, which has seen over 200 participants across Australia and New Zealand since its inauguration in 2007, is unique in that graduates rotate through different Clemenger Group companies, gaining skills across a variety of disciplines.

Robert Morgan, executive chairman of the Clemenger Group, is an avid supporter of the program.

“At Clemenger our core values and our success rely on our ability to attract and retain an unfair share of the best talent. The graduate program is fundamental in allowing us to recruit quality talent at an early stage, immerse them in a variety of marketing communications disciplines, and create the multi-skilled leaders our industry needs.

“In a rapidly evolving digital economy, integration across disciplines is paramount. The Clemenger Group Graduate Program facilitates this, whilst also giving participants the opportunity to discover where their strengths lie.”

Participating graduates are assigned mentors to train and guide them through everyday agency life, and also receive formal training from senior members of group companies and three-monthly performance reviews. Further, the program is associated with The Communications Council, allowing graduates to share in their training and simultaneously build invaluable industry connections.

The program, which runs in Melbourne, Sydney, Auckland and Wellington, exposes graduates to a range of marketing communications disciplines including advertising, customer relationship marketing, public relations, experiential marketing, shopper marketing, brand strategy and healthcare communications.

Says Deborah Muddell, Clemenger BBDO people development director: “The calibre of our graduates is outstanding. More often than not they go on to be gainfully employed by the company and continue to add value to our clients, group and to the work.”
