The Brisbane Advertising and Design Club launches new radio campaign to promote call for entries for the 2013 Awards via Junior Cru Digital
The Brisbane Advertising and Design Club has recently put out a new radio campaign advertising its call for entries (closing August 12) for the 2013 Awards on Nova via Junior Cru Digital.
The campaign consists of three 30sec spots and one 75sec spot, which holds the mirror close to the faces of Brisbane’s digital, design and advertising crowd.
LISTEN TO THE FIRST SPOT – BADC_Planner_.mp3
LISTEN TO THE SECOND SPOT – BADC_Romania_.mp3
LISTEN TO THE THIRD SPOT – BADC_Congrats_.mp3
LISTEN TO THE FOURTH SPOT – BADC_ALL_75.mp3
Voice over Paul Davies asks the listeners about their behaviour, “If you make the logo smaller…”, “If you have a beard…”, “If you watch cat videos for research…”, “If you do your own sound effects…” and more.
Ironically, according to BADC rules, the self-promoting spots, produced by The Post Lounge, can’t be entered in the 2013 Awards that close August 12.

What’s with the clearly fake American accent? It’s in Brisbane right?
Exactly. It’s Brisbane. It’s fake Americana.
I like them. As for the fake American accent, I think it’s a good choice in a cheesy, tongue-in-cheek way.
Oh god. Its SO Brisbane. Hold the mirror close?
Why are you advertising on radio would be my first question.
Are the awards open to Mums and school kids?
Or do you just have so little a clue, that you are unsure of how to target your own kind??? ??
And Paul Davis? And then lame writing which is SO 80’s.
Oh god, Brisbane. You are just SO Brisbane.
We had free radio since Nova is a sponsor. It would have been a waste not to use it.
I SO can’t tell if you’re, like, a pimply 15 year old girl or just a massive pompous wanker. Either way, fuck off back to wherever you’ve gone that’s clearly SO much better than Brisbane. And take your exasperated eye rolls with you.
yeah, but it’s still shit.
