It was an exciting evening for Rhyen Ellis (right) who was awarded top student from the class of twelve, receiving the pencil trophy from AWARD School Head, James Rickard (left), creative director at KWP! Adelaide.

The evening, which was organised by Holly Horne, head of production at Clemenger, has become an important annual event in the industry calendar.

Says Rickard: “It has been a challenging 16 weeks for the graduates, and it is fantastic to see their achievements recognised this evening. I now look forward to seeing that creative thinking applied and showcased outside of this room – there’s a lot more to come from this group.”

The AWARD School program has now been running for 30 years; the 2013 graduates follow in the footsteps of many of today’s creative leaders, including past students: Craig Davis, ex-chairman of AWARD and co-chairman & chief creative officer of Publicis Mojo, David Droga, founder and creative chairman of Droga5, and Matt Eastwood, chief creative officer at DDB New York.
