lamb2-thumb-400x221-95950.jpgJudges for the 2013 Media Federation Awards have chosen 48 finalists to battle it out for the honour of winning an MFA Award in the programme’s 15th year with UM leading the media agency pack with 12 finalists ahead of MEC with nine.

The winners of the 15th annual MFA Awards will be announced at an awards presentation in Sydney on 24th October at The Star Event Centre. For the first time it will be a theatre style format event followed by a seated dinner.

The first stage of the judging was digitised, with 160 judges from agencies, client side, industry bodies and sponsors assessing entries online. Judges then met in Sydney and Melbourne and viewed shortlisted entries on HP’s ElitePads for a final discussion and confirmation of the category winners. The MFA Awards Committee and a representative from Grand Prix sponsor Seven West Media RED will choose the Grand Prix winner from among the category winners.

Says Greg Graham, Media Federation Awards vice chairman and GroupM marketing & new

business director: “Once again the quality of the entries this year was outstanding and a

real celebration of enterprising work. It was great to see a range of entries breaking new

frontiers and delivering superior client results.”
