_C1P3994.jpgAn American-based organisation that honours women worldwide for their contributions to the graphic arts, document communications and print industries has chosen ADMA CEO Jodie Sangster as one of their 2013 Women of Distinction Award recipients.

Sangster joins 10 other women from the US, the UK and France who have been inducted into the Women of Distinction program, created by the OutputLinks Communications Group, based in Houston, Texas, and awarded annually. She is the only Australian on the list this year.

Says Julia Plata, co-CEO of OutputLinks Communications Group: “We launched the Women of Distinction Program 12 years ago to honour the women making key contributions to the industry. The 11 new honourees, all distinguished and well-known industry achievers, were selected for their experience, leadership and contributions to the print and graphic arts industries. The award recipients exemplify a wide range of professional, technical, entrepreneurial, management and marketing skills.”

Says Sangster: “I am delighted to receive this international award. I believe the graphic arts and print industries are essential to the world of marketing and it is a wonderful thing to be seen as a leader in this area.”

Sangster was recognised for her contributions to global marketing including developing the first global education program for the industry delivered across 10+ countries, her work as chair of the 30+ member International Federation of DMAs, and spearheading key initiatives such as global research and content-sharing ventures, all of which have comprehensive graphic arts and printing elements.

This is the third award this year for Sangster, who also won in the marketing category at B&T’s inaugural Women in Media Awards in July and was honoured by the US-based Direct Marketing News as a 40 under 40 winner in August.
