LOGO with R.jpgBrisbane based music-licensing company, Hook Line and Sync, has been making international waves in Hollywood providing songs for Warner Brothers, NBC, HBO, Universal and Disney with over seven thousand tracks from outstanding unsigned Australian artists ready for licensing.

Artists on Hook, Line and Sync’s catalogue have had their music featured on Longmire, True Blood, Shameless, Royal Pains, Burn Notice, Franklin and Bash, Saving Hope, Degrassi, and The Listener as well as big budget films including Rock of Ages.

Today Hook Line and Sync artists not only reach a major audience through film and television but are also featured on commercials for big business brands including Swisse, Contiki, Jeans West, Qantas and Warner Village Theme Parks.

The likes of Clemenger BBDO, The Hallway, Publicis Mojo, and Noisy Beast, have all come knocking on the company doors to search for the ultimate track for national campaigns without the price tag of major label songs and without time consuming music clearance issues.

The company was founded five years ago in the managing director Jamie Brammah’s West End lounge room as a way to support the local Indie music scene. The former major label band manager and radio promotions guru wanted to give indie artists an alternative promotional platform to the traditional mediums.

Says Jamie Brammah, CEO: “Our clients receive the perfect song for their projects, and the artist gets paid, but more importantly, reaches a brand new fan base.

“A well placed song connects with an audiences of millions which then generates a buzz for the artist leading to thousands of spins on YouTube, airplay, press and digital sales for the artist. It gives artists hope to continue creating and that’s what the music industry should be about, music.”
