Joy appoints ex Banjo and Whybin\TBWA Sydney’s Dean Hamilton for creative director role

Whilst at Whybin\TBWA Sydney, Hamilton worked on the Pedigree Adoption Drive and NRMA Car Creation campaigns, which have received over 65 local and international awards to date including D&AD, Cannes, The One Show, New York Festivals and Spikes Asia.

His work has twice been voted Digital Campaign Of The Year, Commercial Of The Year and No 1 App in Australian iTunes store. Hamilton’s work is also part of the permanent collection of the Museum Of Modern Art (MOMA) New York.

From Amsterdam to Australia, Hamilton has worked on some of the biggest brands around the world including adidas, Nike, Playstation, Red Bull and Guinness.

Hamilton’s appointment coincides with Joy hiring Ron Taylor – ex Singleton O&M, Y&R, McCann – as chief operating officer and Simon Ludowyke – ex BBH New York and Mojo Sydney – as general manager.
