Lamb can make unattractive men sexy in latest ‘Lamb is for Lovers’ campaign via BMF Sydney

LambStill4.jpgSpring is here and Meat & Livestock Australia has launched a major campaign led a new spot titled ‘Lamb is for Lovers’ via BMF Sydney.

The campaign positions lamb as the secret weapon for spring romance.

Lamb-lovers.jpgIt stars Don, an ordinary looking guy who believes he can charm any woman… providing there’s lamb involved.

The campaign includes TV, social, video content of the four dates, POS, and tie-ins with Channel Ten’s ‘The Bachelor’.

In the TV spot Don introduces lamb as his romantic weapon and asks Australians to put it to the test: by cooking up a little romance at home, or by applying to date him via the ‘We Love our Lamb’ Facebook page.

Over the campaign period, Don will go on four real dates where he will attempt to seduce women over a lamb meal.

LambStill1.jpgSays Andrew Cox, group marketing manager at Meat & Livestock Australia: “When Australians want to impress somebody they generally choose a lamb dish. We wanted to have a bit of fun around this idea and the result is Don – the guy who punches above his weight because of lamb.”

Says Laura Sampedro and Carlos Alija, joint executive creative directors at BMF: “Nowadays it’s not enough just to say your message, you need to prove it. People are much keener to engage with something if they feel they can interact with it in real life… even if it’s something humorous, like enjoying a lamb meal with Don.”
