Peter W Beck launches ‘We Make Love’ campaign fronted by new spots via The Kingdom, Adelaide
Peter W Beck, one of Australia’s leading wedding ring manufacturers, has launched a new campaign via Adelaide-based agency The Kingdom.
The campaign is designed to underscore how ‘We Make Love’ culminates the bond of matrimony, the prestige of fashion and the celebration of gay marriage.
The campaign features two web films, entitled ‘The Moment’ and ‘Wedding Rings,’ along with the support of several premier print campaigns set to be released in some of Australia’s principal magazines like Vogue, Harpers Bazaar and Cleo.
Troy O’Brien advertising creative director at The Kingdom said he was particularly proud of his team’s ability to develop such a creative solution to a unique market proposition.
Says O’Brien: “We had to shake the tree and avoid the sea of sameness which plagues the industry. The brand and its Gen Y target audience afforded us the opportunity to do something both classy and sexy.”
Says Josh Welbourn agency principal creative: “Traditionally the engagement ring has been celebrated, yet this ring is only an invitation, the wedding ring is the acceptance of that invitation and therefore should be the more celebrated ring.”
The films, shot by Kinetic Films in partnership with Richard Lyons, capture not only the magic when a wedding ring is exchanged, but also the mystique which surrounds an entire wedding day.
Based in South Australia for over 35 years, Peter W Beck has proven itself more than worthy of being Australia’s market leader and now partnered with The Kingdom is set to take its brand message direct to consumers.

Double Rainbow!
I thought the thing with the two guys was sweet and i guess a sign of how open minded and cool we are all these days. but then… topless chick and some wanker in a suit. and all the class flies out the window.
POOR TASTE
The second execution is trashy, pure and simple.
The first at least has its heart in the right place, but glowing pink and rainbows? Really?
