Starcom Melbourne wins Lumo Energy account

1354197.1.high.jpgStarcom MediaVest Group has won energy retailer Lumo Energy’s media business following a competitive pitch.

 

Says Tim Harrington, Lumo Energy executive general manager of marketing and sales: “We are increasingly looking to diversify how we market our competitive energy offers to consumers.

 

“We are excited to be working with Starcom, to leverage their experience and knowledge. We believe Starcom will be very important to the delivery of our marketing strategy, and in turn, support our continued business growth.”

SMG’s Melbourne office will manage the Lumo Energy account.

 

SMG general manager Melbourne, Peter Toone, said his team was looking forward to the opportunity to help the Lumo Energy brand re-shape its marketing activity.

 

Says Toone: “We are delighted to be involved with a business like Lumo Energy which is on the cusp of much bigger things as a company.”

Lumo Energy started out as Victoria Electricity in 2004 and is one of Australia’s fastest growing energy retailers, supplying energy to residential and business customers across Victoria, South Australia, New South Wales and Queensland.
