2a2051e.jpgAustralian popular culture agency, The Sound Campaign, has been appointed by a series of new blue chip clients including Jägermeister, Harley-Davidson, Ben & Jerry’s Openair Cinemas and V Energy. The Sound Campaign’s services span brand strategy, public relations and experiential marketing.

Taking advantage of the agency’s extensive experience in alcohol marketing, Jägermeister enlisted The Sound Campaign to devise an experiential campaign targeting 18-24 year olds that has seen activity recently rolled out across ski resorts in NSW and Victoria.

Says Sarah Nichols, marketing director Brown-Forman: “The Sound Campaign have delivered some excellent work for Jack Daniel’s over the last six years, notably the Jack Daniel’s Barrel House and the JD Set. With their proven expertise in reaching 18-24 year olds through entertainment, it was a natural choice to work with them to bring to life the key brand values of Jägermeister in the snow for this year.”

Furthermore, following the success of the 110th Anniversary Celebration of Harley-Davidson produced by The Sound Campaign earlier this year, the agency has been engaged to formulate the iconic brand’s strategic direction for the next two years.

Says Jason Fielding, founding partner of The Sound Campaign: “It’s a really exciting time for the business as we have been growing exponentially.  We continue to have the honour of working with some of the world’s biggest brands both locally and internationally, who are looking to cut through the clutter by harnessing the power of popular culture. We enjoy developing big ideas based on relevant market insight and smart strategy.”

Widening the company’s offering, The Sound Campaign’s newly launched PR division has seen a number of new client wins. V Energy (music PR) and Ben & Jerry’s Openair Cinemas have engaged the business to promote the summer season of events and the launch of new sites in Adelaide and Perth. The PR division is headed up by Celia Cochran, whose experience includes work for Smirnoff globally, Virgin Mobile and Playground Weekender festivals.

Recently completed projects include the amplification of the Jack Daniel’s Barrel House and Miller City Sessions events. The Sound Campaign has also managed PR activity for luxury watch brands, Raymond Weil and Girard-Perregaux.

Says Sasha Morello (pictured), founding partner of The Sound Campaign: “Delivering on our client’s brand objectives through PR is a natural extension of our service offering.

“Celia brings enormous experience in PR, popular culture and entertainment to the agency and is a real asset to our clients.”

In support of the agency’s expanding remit The Sound Campaign’s visual assets have been refreshed, reflecting the company’s ‘Original thinking. Inspired doing’ service offering.
