Panda-01.jpgPANDA-02.jpgCharacter Mill, a Sydney-based illustration and animation studio, has been chosen by Nature’s Path to illustrate the packaging for their new Envirokidz cereal range.

Nature’s Path is a global Organic food Company based in Canada, producing a wide range of organic GMO-free foods. As part of its extensive range, Envirokidz was conceived to appeal to the younger market. The illustration series features a variety of cute baby animals in their respective environments at dawn, prior to breakfast.

Directors Kim and James Neale worked directly with Nature’s Path to develop a unique and appealing style for the Envirokidz brand, showcasing their abilities in 3D illustration. The work for each piece involved character development and design, through to final illustration including assets for supporting marketing material.

Says Kim Neale: “It has been a thoroughly enjoyable process from start to finish. Our client gave us a fair amount of freedom to develop the look of the animals, while we were mindful of anatomical integrity of each animal and their habitat. We’re continuing to build more of these adorable characters and look forward to developing animated works with them further down the track”.

There are now five different Envirokidz cereal packs available in stores around Australia, with several more in the pipeline.

Based in Sydney and founded in 1999 by Kim and James Neale, the studio produces 3d illustration and animation for many major brands around the world. Recent work includes all art and animation assets for Wasabi Production’s “Gorilla Band”, “Lazy Larry Lizard”, and “Ten Giggly Gorillas” available on the AppleTM iTunes book store.
