The Brand Agency stirs up East vs West rivalry with Freo Dockers video for Virgin Film Festival
The Brand Agency has created a short film on behalf of the Fremantle Dockers for the Virgin Australia Film Festival.
The Festival is a competition open to all AFL clubs, who were asked to answer the simple brief to tell a 3-minute story related to the theme ‘Extra Mile’. Each film had to include a brief shot of a Virgin Australia Cabin Crew member.
The competition opens at 6pm Eastern time (4pm in WA) on Saturday 14 September and runs through until 9pm on Saturday 28 September. The winner will be the video with the most views, likes, comments and shares.
The Dockers’ film is the story of Sean, The Unsung Docker. It gives us a glimpse into his life as he reveals the passion he holds for his beloved team and the sport of AFL footy.
Says Garry Horner, executive creative director: “Making this film was great fun. Sean is a very funny man. A huge thanks to everyone who gave their support to such an important cause – beating the other AFL clubs. We want to win this for WA so please watch and share it.”

Good one Gazza and James Gemma and all,
Looks like you all went the extra mile to make this cool little film. Funny stuff.
The lead talent reminds me of Kenny (Aussie Porta Loo folk hero!)
