Photographer Tong Sarin wants to see you in Hell

Melbourne-based Hell Studios has announced the arrival of quirky emerging photographer and director, Tong Sarin.

Inspired by everyday happenings and images of the old days, Sarin creates peculiar scenes out of ordinary events, fusing raw Thai humour with western commercial styles.

Says Carlos Alcaide, co-founder of Hell Studios: “Tong fills a rather specific role we’ve looking to fill at Hell for a while. We’ve been looking for a ground-breaking talent such as Tong to compliment our existing team for a while now. When he turned up, we couldn’t believe our luck.”

As far as Sarin is concerned, the feeling is apparently mutual. Says Sarin: “I couldn’t be happier – In fact, the hardest part of the whole thing has been convincing my mum that going to Hell is a good thing.”
