14 Aussie entries make the cut at shortlist stage of LIA Television, Cinema + Online Film judging

carlton_beer_chase.jpgdumb ways to die.jpgThis year’s 28th London International Awards TV/Cinema/Online Film jury, led by Tham Khai Meng, Worldwide Chief Creative Officer of Ogilvy & Mather, has concluded judging in Las Vegas.

In total 91 entries made it through to the Shortlist stage, including 14 from Australia. The UK leads the way with 19 entries shortlisted, followed by USA with 16 and Australia with 14.

McCann, Melbourne has four entries shortlisted, all for Metro Trains ‘Dumb Ways to Die’, as has Clemenger BBDO Melbourne – for Carlton Draught ‘Beer Chase’, Carlton Mid ‘Coincidence’, Melbourne International Comedy Festival ‘The Lie’ and Victoria Bitter ‘Hands’.

Mamiababyface.jpgBMF Sydney has two entries shortlisted, bother for Mamia Nappies ‘Ready when you’re not’, as has CumminsRoss, Melbourne, both for Reflex Paper ‘Printer Guru’. GPY&R Melbourne is shortlisted for Schweppes ‘Tumble’ and Leo Burnett Sydney made the cut with Bulleit Whiskey ‘Anti-Established’.
