ADFEST calls for entries to 2014 Lotus Awards; introduces new media lotus category

ADFEST 2014 Call for Entries.jpgADFEST 2014, under the theme “Co-Create the Future,” is now calling for entries from agencies, media companies, and production companies in Asia, Australia, New Zealand and Middle East to enter the Lotus Awards.

ADFEST has also announced the launch of its Media Lotus, consisting of 14 sub-categories including Best Use of Screens & Displays, Best Use of Radio, Best Use of Outdoor & Transit, Best Use of Ambient (Small & Large Scale), Best Use of Experiential/Guerilla Marketing, Best Use of Digital, Best Use of Mobile, Best Use of Social Media, Best Use of Technology, Best Use of Brand Entertainment & Content, Best Integrated Media Campaign, and Lotus Roots.

The new addition brings the ADFEST Lotus Award line-up to 17 Lotus categories:

• Press Lotus

• Outdoor Lotus

• Radio Lotus

• Interactive Lotus

• Mobile Lotus

• Direct Lotus

• Promo Lotus

• Design Lotus

• Print Craft Lotus

• Film Craft Lotus

• New Director Lotus

• Integrated Lotus

• INNOVA Lotus

• Lotus Roots

Like 2013, Lotus Roots is a sub-category within all Lotus Award categories, and is ADFEST’s unique award celebrating ideas that are inspired by local customs, cultures and traditions.  Lotus Roots winners are determined by the Jury Presidents’ panel, which also presides over the Integrated Lotus & INNOVA Lotus.

Entries to the remote judging categories including Other Film (in Film Lotus), Radio Lotus, Interactive Lotus, Mobile Lotus, Integrated Lotus, and INNOVA Lotus close on Tuesday 10th December 2013.

Script submissions to Short Films by the Fabulous Four in New Director Lotus close on Friday 20th December 2013.

Entries to all other Lotus categories close on Friday 10th January 2014.
