CCA in NZ launches twist on an old classic with L&P Sour campaign via Saatchi & Saatchi

LP.jpgCoca-Cola Amatil (NZ) Ltd. has launched a new limited edition flavour in its L&P range, L&P Sour via Saatchi & Saatchi New Zealand.

An unexpected twist on the original L&P, the unique sour-yet-sweet taste is perfectly timed for the Kiwi summer.

Says Saatchi & Saatchi creative director Guy Roberts: “It’s L&P with a bit of spike, so we thought it would be great to show that there’s another side to L&P. As we know, people take on a different persona when they dress up in costume – especially one with a bit of edge. So we crafted some graphic, bold and simple images of lemons in wrestling masks, spiky latex and quirky clown masks. We know our L&P audience are always on the lookout for something new and unique and L&P’s proposition is all about being ‘a bit different aye’.”

Says Wendy Rayner, General Manager, Marketing, Coca-Cola Amatil: “L&P Sour is even more different. It has everything you would expect from L&P but with a sharper lemon hit – it’s another side to L&P, a side with an edge. We know not everyone will be a sour lover but we’re bound to drive consideration and spark discussion!”
