cititruck.jpgSydney food lovers are set for a  culinary experience to remember as Citi hits the road for the first time with the Citibank Dining Food Truck presented by EAT, providing a taste of The Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Month throughout October.

The truck will take to the streets across Sydney serving up tasty dishes from Dining Program ambassador Gary Mehigan’s Big Kitchen Events and partner restaurant, The Bridge Room. The truck’s schedule can be tracked via twitter @EatArtTruck and #CitiDiningFT.

Managing director of marketing, digital banking and customer experience at Citi Australia, Linda Duncombe said that food lovers are in for a treat this October.

Says Ms Duncombe: “At Citi we absolutely love Good Food Month, but this year we wanted to reward our customers with something a little different. The Citibank Dining Food Truck presented by EAT is a chance for us to bring the culinary delights of the Citibank Dining program to the streets. It’s just another example of the long term support we provide to the Australian food and wine industry and we can’t wait for the festivities to begin.”

The bespoke food experience continues at Good Food Month’s signature event, the Night Noodle Markets providing visitors with a combination of the sensory excitement of a traditional Asian food market within the wonderful ambiance of Hyde Park.

Citibank customers will once again have access to the prestigious CitiVIP area but this time with a difference. A team of dedicated Citi Concierges will be on hand to take some of the legwork out of getting food from stalls such as Citibank Dining Program Partner Restaurants Din Tai Fung, East Ocean and Taste of Shanghai.  Visitors to CitiVIP will be able to kick back, relax and soak up the atmosphere in style.

Citibank Dining Program Ambassador Gary Mehigan will make a guest appearance in the truck at the Night Noodle Markets on Friday 11 October presenting a menu that features a signature dish by ‘Gary Mehigan’s Big Kitchen Events’.

Says Mr Mehigan: “The partnership between Citi, EAT and Big Kitchen Events is fantastic for food lovers. Food trucks are all the rage and this allows Citi to take their rewarding Dining Program to a wider audience. It is a win win.”
