Creative agency Workshop Australia and Harris Farm Markets go local for Bondi Beach launch
Creative agency Workshop Australia has worked closely with Harris Farm Markets to develop a different kind of campaign for the retailer’s November 7th Bondi Beach store opening.
Designed to not only grab the attention of the Bondi Beach residents and create awareness of the store opening, the campaign is designed to show the brand is intent on becoming a part of the local scene and not just another retail tenant.
Says Jamie Kwong, CEO of Workshop: “The Harris Farm Markets brand and what it stands for already enjoys a strong awareness amongst Sydney-siders. Our job is simply to tell Bondi locals that Harris Farm Markets is arriving in a way that builds a strong connection between the new store and the local community”.
The campaign will appear in outdoor as well as a huge wall mural in-store dedicated to thanking customers for welcoming Harris Farm Markets. Other activity surrounding the launch will consist of a “Market Day” in front of the store on Saturday November 9 as well as street teams handing out samples and promotional items.
Says Harris Farm Markets’ marketing manager, Anna Howarth: “We’re really excited about broadening our store coverage to encompass more of the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney. Bondi locals have the perfect lifestyle for our product lines so we wanted our campaign to reflect that”.
Harris Farm Markets Bondi Beach is located at 61-79 Hall Street Bondi.

Depressing!
Is this just a pair of tits without a body attached? Where is the torso?
Sad.
Tasty.
So Bondi! Well done.
Boobs.
Big difference when bonds did it. This is just crapola.
90’s
All jokes aside, is this really how the earthy, farm-fresh folk at Harris want their brand to be represented – even if it’s Bondi???
‘Think someone’s pulled a sheep over the farmer’s eyes, myself.
Would have been acceptable 20 years ago. Got to say though Al’s copy writing contribution is gonna put him on stage in Cannes 2014!!! beautiful copy, just beautiful mate!
Now why am I not surprised that it was all men who worked on the ad? But they’re giving that to a female client? It’s not appropriate for her or for the business.
