Challenger, the investment management company, has launched an animated ad via 303Lowe, Sydney to educate the public about the benefits of investing in annuities.
Inspired by hand-crafted paper animation and brought to life in a CGI execution, ‘Balloon’ employs the style of an animated allegorical story to explain the benefits of annuities.

What’s going on over at 303Lowe ? First a real turkey for Red Rooster, now this, with all that paper it was always going to end up being rubbish. Bill Bernbach always said that you should always apply a technique to an idea, not an idea to a technique, some thing sadly lost on the creatives at 303Lowe.
Good one Chris and Co. Does the job nicely.
Saw it on air, beautifully crafted piece. Well done to all involved.
Nicely crafted work Fin & co.
Same as the old Guardian newspaper ad from the Uk.
Awesome, but no bloody way that was done in 3D!
This is actually quite a lovely piece of work particularly for a very bland category. I like it.
Quite like it.
Saw this on tv and it really stands out.
A beautiful piece. Nice work!
Hey, it’s the same as our ad…without the relevance.

NZ Book Council…Sadly, yours was not the first spot involving paper! Get a life!
Taking the piss….i think that was NZ book Council’s point. It’s not good a spot anyway,.
Jack…Bet Challenger paid for there Ad!
It’s ‘their’ old chap, not ‘there’. Maybe head back to copy school?
It’s lucky she was holding all those paper balloons otherwise she would have fallen down that big hole. What a terrible thing to happen on her retirement day. I noticed she dropped the box with all her stuff in it down the hole too. There goes the leaving card, the present and all that pilfered stationery, too. Disaster. She should be suing the council, not buying annuities.
